I used MightyText for years... until I got my S10. I must say that their support people worked with me, but in the end and after incessant 'unlink phone' and redo, it is not stable or reliable enough IMO.

I would love the same features. It is not linked to a particular computer (like Windows' version I think), and I could use it from any web browser logged to my gmail account. My desktop is Windows based but I can also use a browser from my tablet.

Of course, there are myriads but I would appreciate a recommendation by experience with a Samsung S10, with the same portability. TIA.

Great! I didn't even know that one. I also tried mysms but it would have its sync problems as well. Google's Messages for web worked the first time. Thanks again.

Excellent! It still has a few kinks to iron out, but for the most part, it's worked great. I can access it on any of my computers or Chromebooks, and it also works on my Pixel C tablet (although I rarely use it there).

MightyText did an ultimate effort and seems to have discovered the root cause.

1. Go to the MightyText phone app and tap the 3 dot settings icon
2. Tap Battery Optimization
3. Tap Apps not optimized at the top and choose All apps
4. Find MightyText in this list and tap it (make sure it is turned off)
5. Restart your phone

So I returned with them. I like the chrome extension and that it keeps me informed of phone's status.

Stable for a week. :)
