Hi,

Just installed Snapdragon Battery Guru to see if I can eek a little more life out of my battery, it's in learning mode at the moment so I won't notice anything for a couple of days.

I was just wondering if anyone had been running this app for a while now and have actually noticed it making a difference to battery life?

Thanks

Andy.

My usage habits were not consistent enough for it to figure me out. So for me, it was not working. I might give it another try though.

Hmmmm, will have to see how it goes then, I'll give it a few days and see what happens.

Andy.

I also have installed it the other day. Almost done learning apparently. I'll let you know how it goes for me.

Same here. My usage patterns are so inconsistent that it can't work for me.

I enjoy it as sometimes I cannot be bothered turning WiFi on and off and if does it by my suburb. Eg when I'm at uni and home it turns it on other wise its off.

I find its good if you forget. It just does small handy things.

I've been running it for several months, and my impression is that I get better battery life with it than without. I did have to tweak it a little after its learning mode finished to turn some updates back on, but otherwise I just let it do its thing. It sometimes "forgets" to turn wireless back on, but that's a simple fix. Overall I'm happy with it, but YMMV.

It was great for about a week. But now it seems that the location part makes Google services use more battery than the screen. So it's been uninstalled

an app that records, analyzes, and consumes the data representing your whereabouts?

i like their style
soon they'll take away the paper money too

It was making wrong decisions for me. Turning off WiFi when at home, turning it on when I was home. Would turn off bluetooth halfway through driving, GPS at the wrong times etc etc. I uninstalled it after two weeks. Making your own profiles in a program like tasker or llama is much less aggravating.

I'm finding it turns off the wi-fi under certain circumstances and then does not detect that wi-fi is available. I have to turn the phone off and back on to reset the app so the wi-fi is on. I can't override its wi-fi decision in Settings. Otherwise, I think the app does save some battery.

I'm lazy. It's valuable in my T-Mobile One.

Try it for two weeks then decide.

I swear it seems as tho it made my battery worse. I can tell because normally even if I only have 20% left at night and forgot to charge it my phone would still have power in the am. I have had up to 60% left at night from a midday charge and its completely dead in morning. Just being sleep my phone could last for days if I didn't use it. Uninstalling now
