snapshot app

Do a search for shoot me, download. apk and backup with titanium. Still works great.

I happen to have a copy of Shoot Me but I'm not exactly sure if posting it goes against TOS here at AC for an application that is no longer available.

You can pull the apk directly from your "data/app/" directory... Copy and paste it to somewhere on your sdcard using Root Explorer. It will be name com.android.com.xxx something to the effect of shootme and it will have the shoot me icon to make it easy to find.

You can also make a backup of that app for safe keeping using MyBackup Root or Titanium Backup.

I went to the data/app directory and couldn't find shootme any other place it could be Paul

Both titanium and my backup root are free applications. I've only used titanium but can say the process to backup an application is really easy.

Make sure your in the right directory first... Your sdcard has a "data" directory and that is not the correct one.

You need to use Root Explorer or ES File Explorer and go to the root access (system memory). data/app/com.bw.picme.local-1.apk

That is the exact file name for ShootMe.

Just root your phone they have one click root now. Just look it up. It's easy and you get super user and can download apps that can only be used when your phone is rooted. It's very helpful.
