So did you Pre-Order the T-Mobile LG G3?

Pre-ordered mine on day 1 next day air. Said it would be delivered July 1st...nope. Got an email July 2nd saying it was backordered. Called yesterday to see if they knew when units were shopping and they now show on their end that units will ship within 12 days of ordering (their website has said 5 the entire time). I'll be very upset if this thing shows up at my house the day it's released in stores. Oh, and black one for me

That's normal for pre-orders though? Even the pre-order button on their site says that it will ship by the 15th... So they are definitely not guaranteed to come early. I'm hoping they will, but it would be a little silly to expect the device to arrive early.

Yeppers. Preordered phones on a couple carriers. While once I did get it 2 days earlier than release. They usually ship them to show up on release day.

Pre-order is basically just reserving a phone.

Usually phone preorders (as Jdane07 said) show up on the day of release. You might receive it a day or so early but that's a rare case. If you check your order details via Tmobile, everyday you should see the phone pushed back one day until release day. That how my details are at least.

Nope. I prefer to go into the store and play with it to see if I truly like it. It's either the G3 or the S5 for me at this point. I'm bored with my M8

I was going to preorder it online but what has held me back is the shipping charges. For standard shipping 5-7 days business days its $6.99 and next day air is $24.99. However for "New" customers the shipping is Free. I think I might just wait till July 16 to buy it from the store. I am upgrading from Jump and customer service can't do it over the phone (They usually waive the new day shipping for me over the phone). I'm disappointed T-Mobile doesn't have the Gold model either.

At least they are selling the 32GB / 3GB Ram model

I can indeed see my order details online. Gives me the whole LG G3 Order, Order #, Order Date, Est. Arrival Date, JUMP Returned Phone/Label Print out etc.

I called and my order went through initially but they didn't say why I couldn't see it online. asked a chat agent about it and they said cause it was back ordered. also said it should ship out by Saturday and I paid for expedited shipping so I will get it by Monday. I'm so excited

Good, I saw no movement on the order page still. Just "Processing" but when I checked my UPS MyChoice for a few other packages in waiting for I saw my G3 should actually be here Friday!

they keep telling me that they don't know when I will get it. All they see is that it is back ordered. the store told me to call care if I don't have it by Monday. I was charged for it though.

It might seem like a hassle but UPS MyChoice is free to sign up. Once you do and pit your address in you don't need to know the tracking number, they know it before you most of the time! You get an email/text everytime something is being sent to your address. Anyway, that's my UPS promo.

Good luck with your orders, hope you will receive your new G3's as per or around the specified date.

Its extremely annoying having to go through the pre order stage and order processing and then NOT to receive any tracking details.

Thankfully here in Scotland all was smooth, but annoyed at Lg for only providing us with the 2/16gb variant grrrr

Trade off wireless charging out the box though

Got it last night. Was unpacking from my vacation so I charged it up and then started messing with it.
Been on since 8:30pm last night (central time) with heavy usage and it is still at 25% right now. Love it!
