I have been loving my S4 Active and was hoping to gauge some feedback on those that use the S Health app. I have messed with it a little and have a small idea as to how it works but thought I would ask you S4 users how you like it. Pros/cons? Thanks everyone!

Hi, I did use S health for some time I just did not find it useful for me but it does work great. I still love and use the comfort level and walking mate. So I still use it.

I love it. The step counter and the thermometer is the best!

S- health is great the only bad thing I noticed is that while riding my motorcycle it does tend to count steps but not constantly. I just pause it.

I tried it on a friend's S4 and really enjoyed it. For someone as active as me, it's extremely useful and enjoyable to use.

That's helpful. I ride too!

Yea the only bad thing about the walking mate is that if you shake the phone it will count it as a step.

My active doesn't have the thermometer. How does the thermometer work with a health?

You go to the health app and on the list on the left is the thermometer. It was removed in an update from the health app I don't know why. It pretty much measures the temperature and humidity. It's great !

Would be nice if they came out with the S Band..... Come on, geez.

The real question is where are all of the accessories Samsung announced months ago that were supposed to go along with the GS4, like the S-Band that was tied to S-Health. I wouldn't mind getting one instead of another FitBit and adding another app but you simply cannot find them.

This. There isn't a better or more accurate pedometer on the market.

Re: So how is S Health on the S4? Not great.

Love the concept. You don't turn it on or off it just tracks. EXCEPT it's wildly unreliable. On the same walk on multiple days, I'll get results that range from the correct 2.1 miles to as low as .7 miles. In all cases the phone is in the same pocket. In other words, there's no rhyme or reason. Too bad, it could be a great app. At the very least, it needs the ability to add the correct information manually. I don't even know an easy way to report this problem or request a change in the app from Samsung.

I didn't feel like starting a new thread.
Does the S Health app offer audio feed back while running? For example if I hit 1km will it let me know I have run 1km?
