Their protection plans were great, no deductible and no claim limit. Now, you have to pay $150 deductible if your smartphone is physically damaged, and I believe 3 claim limit. Since they don't cover loss or theft, Verizon asurion is better for me because it is $100 deductible and covers loss or theft. Verizon asurion covers 2 losses per year.

Just to clarify, Verizon Asurion will cover two losses in a year, but if you claim twice in the same calendar year you are ineligible for coverage for 12 months.

Totally agree with this post. Let's be serious, if you owned a store would stock products that didn't sell? ....NOPE. iPhone's and Galaxy's are the top sellers so it's not BestBuy's fault you decided to purchase a device that's not popular.

Well, the HTC One M8 is still very new. I checked all over and nobody had them in stock.. a physical store as opposed to a website where I have to wait. By chance I went into a Sprint store and even though their website said they had none, they did indeed have one. I wanted to go with Sprint because I get unlimited talk, text, and 1GB data for $25 a month.

But, nobody carries any accessories yet. I was going near Best Buy anyway so I decided to stop in. They only had two cases. Both of them suck. They're made by Speck. They're plastic and scratch easily. In fact, the two I pulled off the shelf were already scratched on the back! The first one was so bad they sent it back to the manufacturer. The second one I agreed to take. I'm only keeping it until the Spigen case comes out then I'll return this one. The other problem with this Speck case, not everyone will care, but it blocks the Infrared port.. so I can't use it to control my television.

This phone is slippery! I'd guess that you protect YOUR phone with some type of case. Premium or not. If not, then you're definitely in the minority!

For the times when cases are desired for protection. It's implied that there will be times when the phone will not be in a case. In locations where the surrounding environment doesn't pose a threat to the exterior of the device. When the coast is clear, it's yummy goodness can be savored until it saturates every pore and orifice of the human body.

I've had this confusion about cases as well (outside the HTC One). You actually have people debating what color device to purchase, even though a case is going to cover it up. Crazy ain't it?

I did not find my local Best Buy to be very helpful when I was searching for a case. The associate basically looked at me and said Amazon then walked away. I really like the UAG case I'm using and would recommend it to anyone. I am also going to try out the Supcase Unicorn Beetle as well.
