Since we aren't able to run the app from the market I decided to try it through the browser.

I side loaded this ( http://db.tt/Eh619Mrj ) version of Adobe flash.
Then downloaded Scope browser from the market.

Install Adobe flash, then in Scope browser enable flash in settings to Auto.

Go to HBO GO website and run the desktop version through settings.
Log in to your provider... And wallah... HBO GO is running.

Then menu is not so smooth, but once you get your video playing put it in full Page View and your golden.

I know this is just a temporary fix until the app in compatible with Jellybean, but it's something.

Proof! Watching classic OZ episodes (no HD then, sucks)

Re: So I got HBO GO working......

I was able to download HBOGo using 1Mobile. Can't get this app from the Play Store. You have to use 1Mobile.com.

This app allows you to download apps the Play Store says are not compatible.

I been doing this with the stock browser not chrome and it has great playback. Nothing like the app. I was hoping you got the app to work.

No sure what magic you pulled off but the app from 1mobile gets me all the way to the loading screen and just hangs forever. Any tricks?

I tried this. You download the apk & then sideload to the N7. It installs fine, but won't load any video...just sits there spinning up (like the xfinity app).

this isn't that hard, people!! Don't a lot of you all ready run dolphin 8.5.1 and flash 11.1?

if you do, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO is turn off pop-up blocking, log into HBO go on the browser and watch to your heart's content. The only issue I've had with flash that is a bit annoying, but not a show stopper, is that Dolphin will FC if you hit "full screen" playback of a video. at least the ones I've tried (not necessarily on HBO go--just any random videos I've played).

I noticed that.. but on scope browser you can go full screen with no problem

For some reason it is hard and I don't know why. Because I can't play Flash with Dolphin 8.5.1 with Flash side loaded. It kinda works with Firefox (but no full screen mode). Only thing that actually worked for me was side loading the stock AOSP browser, finally works.

did u install flash FIRST? 8.5.1 works well with flash, other than full screen video which will crash it.

firefox and flash don't play well with abc.com so I don't bother with FF any longer.

Dolphin w/flash runs it OK (even at full screen), but not great. The app would be preferable.

Sorry, I guess you have to be rooted to use 1Mobile.

Yes, I always install Flash first and the browser last. Videos load, but never play.

If you read dolphins app description it says it won't play well worth flash considering they are moving away from flash.

Perhaps something else on your phone is conflicting. It SHOULD work.

I think Dolphin 8.5.1 is the last version that will work with flash. That's what I use & it runs with no problems at all.
