So I rooted and ROMed my S3 19300 with CM 11 Kitkat 4.4.4

It's my first time rooting and ROMing an Android phone and I must say, I enjoyed it. Maybe with time I will extend it to my M8.
Anyway here are screenshots... Nova Launcher, Vibe Icons and Material L theme from CM store.

How does it work? Are there any issues with animation and so on?

Sorry for the late reply. I was tied up at work. So far no glitches or hiccups. Animation is smooth so far.I got the snapshot update last week.

I had CM on my phone, but a few months ago put slimkat on there and I absolutely love it. It's cleaner and runs smoother. I'm by no means a developer/hacker type, but I certainly enjoy having flexibility with my phone. And the Galaxy 3 is tight, so coupled that with an awesome ROM like slimkat, I will not be one of those looking for the next best thing to come out. Enoy!
