So im trying to install a zip file that is a custom logo from recovery, so i click apply update from sd card, and its saying opening update package and says installation aborted.. Is there a way to install it?

Also learn how to go back to stock if anything gets mess up .

i checked XDA forum, it doesn't have it... and this device is kinda hard to find... No one did this, but I want to do this because the sound of when its turning on and off.. It annoys me, so i need a custom logo, b/c the one on there sucks, and sound.

No problem , wish I could of been more help ,but phone's or devices that not popular won't see much info on them for those things .
If you know you going restart the device just put phone in silent so you can't hear the start up.

That's a Lifeline phone, so it's probably locked against installing anything.
(As far as the sound, that has nothing to do with the logo - it's a separate sound file, which you'd have to delete or rename. But you'd have to root the phone to do that, and it's probably locked against that too. Either you get free or you get the ability to modify, but usually not both.)
