So it's April....

I tried speed test. I would always get varying download speeds. Same upload speeds. It all just depends on variables to that downloading signal. I don't really trust it to be completely accurate as I have done multiple test in a row and nothing changed.

Something tells me we are not going to get our fix this month...prove me wrong ATT.

I agree. I have absolutely zero confidence in AT&T right now.

What is your signal strength (dBm)? settings/about phone/Network/Signal Strength. The 5th bar on some phone can have a 40 dBm variance. I'm just curious how close to zero you are.

Signal strength is -75 to -60 dBm right now (but it's raining and I'm inside). Might be better with better weather. Also I have not been able to reproduce the results since the first day, and I am currently only getting ~400kbps upload speed now so I'm not sure how that happened in the first place

thats not fair at all you live in an area with only 800 people and i live in a town with 40,000 people and a sizable university and we have been promised 3G since september and has just been delayed again until july

It sucks for you lol. But on a sidenote, I'm moving to a city of 65,000 plus 2 universitys, only 100 miles out of MSP/ St Paul and they still don't have 3g either. I'm hoping its fixed by the time I move in August.

I've already been thinking about the tyraid I'm ready to go on with AT&T next week if this update doesn't come. There should be some kind of compensation they can offer since I upgraded to this phone on the pretense that I would be getting 4G speeds. Any AT&T employees out there that have been getting flack about this? Dilrod?

I've had AT&T for 7 years and every month Verizon is starting to look better and better (except their LTE crashing today).

Got the update folks. @ -101 dBm (three bars) I am getting 1157 kbps UP. My ping is also down from 300 or so to around 163 ms.

I went into settings and checked HTC WiFI updates and viola.

So my results are without enhanced backhaul (that I know of). I also read somewhere (maybe this thread) that the Inspire is not actually HSPA+ capable only HSDPA capable.

Can anyone confirm that?
