so ive had it about a week and still have maybe a week too see if i wanna exchange it for something else and i have it in 32 gigs in gold i like it i really do put a nice gold case on it too too match . however i am starting too wonder if maybe i should go with the 64 gigs model mind you the 64 gig where i live only comes in black sapphire which is like a navy blue no gold option available for some reason idk they must have been on something when they made that call i have about 12 to 13 gigs left there is a trip coming up though and im wondering will 13 gigs be enough too last the 2 year period for the new phone ? on my old phone my 32 gigs lasted a very long time long enough till i got the new one actually but i did plan on taking some videos and pics on the trip im wondering if it will be enough down the road .

i know there's cloud options but the cloud only works for vids and pics ....would be nice if it worked with apps too but i guess u cant win em all and how useful is the cloud anyway is it worth looking into?. and right now it seems the apps is the place thats taking up most the storage besides the misc files.so if i were to keep downloading apps then it would seem eventually i would possibly not have enough space for pics and vids i assume possibly not enough space at least too last the 2 years i would have the phone on the monthly payment plan until eligible for another upgrade but still it is a possibility .

i wouldnt call myself a heavy user of pics i only have about 700 pics, apps on the other hand takes up 8 gigs currently n then there is the option of going team iphone and getting the iphone 6s plus and at least there gold model comes in 64 gigs where i live so i have to ask should i give up the32 gig all gold color i really wanted in the begginning for the navy blue looking color that at best is a second choice possibly third choice but get more space or maybe go team iphone for the first time and get there gold and white 64 gig iphone 6s plus or should i see if i can tough it out with the 32 gig all gold color really wanted first with about 13 gigs left and see how far i can get especially with a vacation coming up in a year .then theres the possible future vacations hmmm .i guess all it comes down too is how many pics or vids do i plan on taking ... i got pretty far with 32 gigs o n my old phone a few years actually but that was a galaxy note 2 but now these phones are taking up way more space now days its scary! soo any advice would be appreciated ..decesions are a hard thing to do >:( ugh!!!

I think there are a number of questions I would ask before making a final choice. I'm not going to start the IOS Vs. Android discussion - I will leave others to do that!

1) Do you think you will have access to any Wifi whilst you are away? If you do then this would help your cloud backups

2) What resolution will you be shooting videos at/? I've not had much success with UHD capture but that may be just the way I am trying to play them back. I'm sure you know the higher the resolution (and the longer the clip) the more storage they take up. This also applies to photos but it sounds like you don't take too many of them.

3) Choice of phone: This is really a personal matter so I can only answer based on my own experience. In my case I wanted an Edge+ in gold 32GB but would had to have waited so went for the black and am happy with it.

If I was facing your choice I would probably go for the 64GB but it really depends how important the gold colour is to you!

Let us know how you get on!

3 i wanted the gold in 64 but where i live the 64 only come sin black so i went with the 32 gold cuz thats what i really wanted so i guess its kinda reversed for u and me but thinking i might need the 64 but also kinda stuck on my gold :| u said u got the sapphire black right is it just as nice as the gold platinum?

4 yeah i see what u mean i wanted to go for the 64 for sure! but i really wanted that gold but ive seen the sapphire black in videos and it doesnt look too bad its like a navy blue ? u have it in sapphire black is it just as nice as the gold?

I have the sapphire black. I also have unlimited data, so.........☺

so how do u like the sapphire black? i know both the gold and sapphire black are both very nice but like how do u like it? is it nice? from the vidoes ive seen its more of a navy blue color

also whats that sd card reader thing? i thought u cudnt use sd cards on these newer phones
