So LG will replace the back if it gets broken?

I just dropped my T Mobile insurance after finding out the deductible on a Nexus 4 is $150. I signed up for Worth Ave Group $45 a year with a $50 deductible per claim. Makes alot more sense. Worth Ave Group | The most trusted electronic device insurance provider

If you do the cell plan as an $5 add on to a no deductible laptop or tablet plan then the cell phone also has no deductible. Love it. Just have to make sure the coverage amount covers both devices. I have found this method the cheapest way to cover two devices, if you have and need, or want the coverage on both devices. Make sure you use promo code "newcustomer" for 15% off.

I cracked my back glass.

Found a shop that said they would replace it for $80. I took it in and made sure the wireless charging would still work and they said yes. They bought the replacement part that was just the back. They had to peel the wireless charging pad off the old back and attach it to the one they were putting on the phone. I was cringing while waiting knowing it would never work.

Got home, plopped it on the charger and I heard the sweet sound of the connection being made. Ching!

Quit worrying and enjoy the phone!

RIght, but AMEX covers thefts and accidents up to 90 days from purchase: American Express ? Purchase Protection. It doesn't hurt to ask what else a CC issuer will cover or extend.

And worth ave group doesn't require the phone to be new or within 30 days of purchase. So get your free 90 days, and if so inclined, get a year from WAG on day 91. Then you get 15 months and by then new shiny phones with incremental upgrades will be out.

Also of note the only thing WAG does not cover is pure loss. If it is stolen, you are covered, if you leave it on the bus, out of luck.
