So Miracast?

I was over at XDA and some people are saying that the N7 will never get miracast. Then others are saying that Miracast does not require dual band in order to work, so the Nexus 7 theoretically should be able to use Miracast. And then there are even other people who have been able to port their screen to a tv (without audio though) using something on a rooted Nexus 7..


Any thoughts on this?

Amazing how Google says "we added Miracast to android 4.2" but out of all the devices getting 4.2 as an upgrade and the 3 new devices (nexus 4,7,10) only nexus 4 has it.
Not nice to lie like this!
Is it a software update or not!

Yup it's bull crap. We have tegra 3 processors and 4.2. What's then flipping hold up?
