So my friend in Brazil never got 4.2.2 but...

If your friend is rooted, its very easy to change the version number and fake someone out.

Just stop posting nonsense and all will be well.

This can be done so easily... All you need to do is download ES file explorer then adjust build.prop. My Nexus 7 is currently running Android 1000.

In fact, I skipped all updates and just went to Android version 1,000,000. This is so easy to do, I don't know why anyone would take this seriously. And this picture isn't edited other than cropping it.
PS: They finally added the ability to do a full backup in Android 1,000,000.

Odd things can happen, there have been people who for whatever reason got updates way before they were ever supposed to be released. In a few cases it was due to the handset being mistakenly added to a db that was for internal testing.

So while 4.2.2. might or might not be real, it is possible as is 4.3.

I'm so glad adults on this website can function like normal people.
