I got the phones last evening and went with TM today $50 plan for both of us. If I need to go to the $60 plan for one phone in the next month or two that is the way I will go.

Have you considered Solavei(T-Mobile MVNO) ? They use the T-Mobile prepaid network. It's $49 for unlimited talk / text / data. The data isn't throttled until you use 4GB.

They are also doing a referral sign up thing which can effectively lower this rate. (I signed up my husband.) We have both been happy with them.
