so something is wrong with my phone?

so long story short i tried out a dpi density changer? and i didnt like it so i went to restore an image i had just made before i even installed it, and now my phone wont boot into the restore. wtf? it just hangs at the android screen, it just keeps flowing through itself

whats going on? how do i fix this

im running your mom rom and it wont load up any restore i have

Can you get into recovery? And I wondered if dpi changer worked... did it work before it wouldn't boot?

Did you flash debug-formatsystem.zip before flashing rom?.. if not I would try that... you'll have to download the zip and move it to SD root but I'm sure you know this... hope this helps...

i tried 3 different backups all your mom and they just did not want to load for some reason, but luckily i tried my stock image and that loaded up so i am no longer freaking out

but any idea as to why those backups wont load up? ive used them before with problem, now they just wont work, i dont understand :|

so yea none of my yourmom backups load up at all, i wonder could it have anything to do with the cmw recovery th3 that team hydro made? because i used to have xionia and then upgraded to this and i wonder if maybe that could be the culprit, anyone have any ideas as to how i can get them to load? i really to access information that was on my phone

I believe Drew has tested the Team Hydro w/ Xionia backups (seem to remember reading this perhaps I'm losing it). At anyrate I would also make sure that if you renamed the backups there are no spaces as this would cause the md5 sums to mismatch. Assuming no name issues than yes it could be the recovery but I really have no idea lol

ok so i made some progress, i reinstalled the xionia i had before, and when i tried to load the two backups that were giving me issues, i noticed that now it said stuff like, restoring system image, cant find, skipping, and it did that for most things, but i was able to load up one of my yourmoms that i had made a lil while back, so i guess, when i made backups with the newer cmw mod it messed stuff up

update: so while looking at my backups it seems that the newer ones i made are labeled system.yaff2.img or data.yaffs2.img while the old ones had no yaffs2 in there
could this be why?

Which recovery did you use? Just curious cause I'm running the new CWM and not xionia...

i was currently using the CMW recovery 5.0.2.7-th3 and it would seem that any backup made during that time just wouldnt work, and it also made my previous xionia backups behave oddly, once i installed xionia again, the old backups made with xionia loaded up no problem, but the new ones did not, which i assumed wouldnt because maybe theyre stored differently but what ever, then when i was looking at the files that make up a nandroid backup, any of the new ones had an extra wording in the file names, yaff2 or something like system.yaff2.img or data.yaff2.img, and i dont know if that was the problem but everything is working with xionia

then just to see i reinstalled cwm recovery and re attempted the events and again the backups would not boot

odd, maybe im just the only one but who knows,

I've been using the HydroRom beta for sometime now. Pretty basic right now. I did install shell launcher a few days ago without the dalvik mod, and got the low on space warning, phone froze and that's when I installed my backup. Which went great. Flawlessly really. The back up was made with CWM5 AND installed with it. So who knows...?

Yeah It's strange. But the installer works no doubt. I'm sure team hydro is looking into it.
