So, the new connection style for bands...

The W8 isn't easy either. The pins on the 6C weren't great. The push button thingy on the W7 was better. This nail breaker button pushing deal with the flumsy doodad on the pusher inny part is the worst.
I had trouble getting the band off but worse getting it back on. I was trying to practice last night and will try again today. But yes I worried about my nails trying to get it off. I really like the 40mm one though for me and it fits great on my wrist. I'll post another picture I am on my computer at home and pics are on my phone LOL! I have to back and forth.

Holy smokes, did anyone else struggle as much as I did getting your bands installed?

These are much harder than on the Ultra's bands to connect.
I thought it was just me. Lol. This is not easy to put on. Why hasn't anyone who has done a review on this watch mentioned that? I only ordered two watch bands so far. Both metal bands. Hopefully they will be a little easier to get in, but I doubt it.

My husband said if you angle it a certain way I have to practice but he said it's easy. He's already got it down. And he's coming from a 6C so he knows nothing about the Ultra. But he said if you look at the side of your watch when it's on kind of angle it in like that. I don't know he says it's not hard for him. I haven't tried again.

There is certainly a learning curve. I agree, you have to angle the lug a bit to get it to snap into place. I tried it with the stock band, and 3 of the 4 bands I have. They all show to snap it together parallel to each other, but i noticed it works better if its slightly angled.

Yes!! It took me like 5 minutes to get them on. I couldn't understand why they just wouldn't snap into place. It was rough

Yes my husband said it has to be angled a certain way which I stated above. Hope it gets easier I still need to practice.

Well I bought this 3 piece bumper cover set with screen protector and bezel protector in all black and didn't realize the bumper cover wasn't the open kind and you have to take watch band off to take it off. It's going back but tonight he was having trouble getting the bands off and on and when the bumper cover was on it was really hard. I finally got it off and he said here practice put this strap back on and it is hard. I won't be changing bands that often.

He is still on the fence and loves his 6C and may return. But he thought the bands were easy and now he's like maybe not. He needs to look at other covers on Amazon and he may end up keeping it who knows. I'm keeping mine I just want a fabric band they sent me the wrong band and no one called me back yesterday or emailed me my promo code.
