So what is everyone getting rid of to get the Thunderbolt?

Blackberry Bold 9650 jumper here... loyal Verizon customer since 1997.. and was a very loyal Crackberry user for years... I know I'm gonna be a total moron on the touchscreen but it is TIME to make the jump!

Storm 2 jumper here. I am keeping the Storm 2 for trips to Europe etc. so I will have a phone over there.

Leaving behind my Storm 2. I loved it until about a month ago when my data service went to crap, and after spending hours with tech support for both Verizon and RIM I was told "It's a known issue, we're working on it." Two weeks later my data service still sucks. Hello Android! :)

Droid Incredible. The problem is, I still REALLY love my DInc. I feel like I am dumping a girl I am still in love with for her younger sister with bigger boobs...

I am turning off the lights on my Storm 2. But like others said; will keep it for trips to Europe (4-5 times/year); one coming up in April. I want to see how smooth it will be to transfer the service back on to the Storm 2. Depending on how it goes then; will decide the fate of TB w/o global roaming capability.

BTW; I can't believe how many people still have their Storm 1... Anyhow; I have been a loyal Crackberry addict but gave up on them after seeing the best that they can come up with was "OS 6"... It is barely par with whats out there. AND I got really ticked off when my Storm 2 didn't have enough RAM to update to OS6 when phones that came out months before mine was able to update. I had a chance to check out OS 6 on my friend Torch; I realized that it was not worth it (buying a new phone, signing another 2 yr contract).

I use google (apps) hosted work email account, google docs, google voice for work. When I realized how deep google was integrated in my day 2 day life, I decided to look into Android phones and was I impressed... 3-4 years ahead of Blackberry software...

I will miss BB Messenger; no doubt about that! There are rumors out there that they might offer BBM on other platforms so who knows... Cant wait for tomorrow!

I will miss it as well. I already told my girlfriend if her BB messages don't deliver to me she'll know why! I'm not quite sure whats so awesome about it... I just liked it. Maybe its because of the D and R next to the checkmark. Or because it doesn't eat up your texts if you don't have unlimited.

I also heard the rumors about it coming to other platforms. That would be sweet.

I'm ditching an original Touch Diamond! And couldn't be happier to do so! No more Windows Mobile for me...thankfully.

Technically, I'm trading in a Droid X that I got last week when i'd given up on the TB...but thankfully it's in my return period, so I still consider myself upgrading from the Diamond :)

an eris that i got for free since it was part of a promotion to get rid of them. i will be giving it to my sister who also has an eris but doesnt want a new phone because she likes the smallness of the eris and wants a backup phone. she isnt good with techmologies.

before that i had a casio boulder, sometimes i miss the durability of that orange lump.

I'll be leaving the Storm2 (4th in 12 months) in my drawer for out of country trips.
Will definitely miss BBM, but can't take the browser, random reboots, and the clicky screen anymore.
Life should be a lot easier.:D
