So what is everyone getting rid of to get the Thunderbolt?

I am selling my storm 2 and my Tbolt shipped today. I am so excited. This will be my first droid phone.

I currently have a Palm Pixi Plus. Since I won't get much for it, I'm just going to keep it around in case something happens to one of my family member's phones and they need a backup while waiting for their replacement to come or something. I take care of my phones the best, but everyone else in my family has dropped several phones into sinks, washed phones through the washer and the dryer, and one of my relatives keeps dropping their Palm Pre and I think it's only a matter of time before it breaks. I got my Pixi in July for free. On the old account I was on, people stole everyone's upgrades so at least I have one coming this July already, but since my Pixi hardly works for anything, even simple calls or texts, I'm complaining to Verizon trying to get an early upgrade. I've decided on the Thunderbolt since this is my first Android phone, I'll have it for two years, I want an HTC phone, and I figured I'd rather spend some money now than have to spend more for a better phone off-contract later. I can't wait to get my Thunderbolt!

I have to say i just came from a BB 9650 to the Thunderbolt. although i miss BB email there is no turning back. Just the mere speed of the browser or the flash capabilities has me hooked.

I was using an HTC Touch Pro. I'm keeping it since I can't really get any $$ for it (last I saw was $7 on ebay). It will become a toy with whatever games it can handle. LOL

Got rid of my iPhone 4 for the Thunderbolt.

My girlfriend has an iphone, and compared to the Thunderbolt it just fells like a toy. I think it's a good phone, but the speed and full web browsing experience on the Thunderbolt is unmatched. Not to mention the endless customization you can do on the Android OS. Plus the development community for this phone has been awesome.

I ditched my blackberry like so many others and while I do miss the email capabilities, the Thunderbolt beats it in every other way. Now that I took control of the kernel, and removed bloat the battery life is very comparable to a blackberry. I just hope I can fetch $100 for it on ebay :)

I switched from a Blackberry Storm. Thought I love the TB, there are certain things that are not perfect. The Storm was much slower, but there were things it did that the Android will not. I like the speed of the TB, and the way i can customize it, but I have to say i miss the Blackberry a little.

Hey everyone --

First post on the site. I just got the Thunderbolt (obviously..), and am switching over from the Blackberry Torch. I plan on keeping both phones for now, but will probably make the complete transition to the Droid in a month.
