That's only because July 10th is a Sunday. The official date is still July 10th, 2011 but online is going to be shipped July 8th (to arrive to people on Sunday) OR July 11th.

If you go to a Walmart or Radio Shack on 7/10, you'll most likely see them out for sale.

Please clarify what you mean by "online" . . . and thank you

I spoke to toshibadirect.com today about my preorder. The rep told me they were starting to ship on July 11th.

Yo, I spoke to toshibadirect Tuesday morn about my 6/13 preorder and the phone rep couldn't tell me anything about a shipping date except "midJuly."

Do you mind saying on what date you preordered?

Reserved mine through bestbuy.com yesterday. Delivery only, in-store pickup was greyed out so i contacted help through their Chat program. The rep told me my tablet will be delivered on the 11th, Monday and i couldn't preorder for pickup on the 10th.

Color me embarrassed, i paid 29.99 shipping for BB to deliver on Monday.... final price after tax, $499.
I would have spent the difference on alcohol anyway.

Most online retailers don't ship on the weekend, so they'll either ship this Friday or next Monday. Meanwhile, if you just walk into a store on Sunday, it'll be out for sale because they don't have the same restrictions as online stores do and they already have them in stock.

Thus, store date is July 10, 2011 as confirmed a few months ago by Best Buy and it won't be shipped online until either July 8, 2011 (Friday) or July 11, 2011 (Monday).

Amazon have stop offering them but Directvision says they have 2 instock on the same page.
i.e fufilled by Amazon= not anymore

but i'm still waiting on the email saying Amazon are shipping my preorder from the 17/6 so i'm guessing they are ready to be shipped but wont yet and Directvision probably wont till the 8th at the earliest still I only paid $300 of my money total with the offers and birthday gift cards making up the rest so i'm not too worried waiting another few days
