Shipping info will let them know it's from Samsung. I remember when T-Mobile use to send they're phones in black and magenta boxes and I'd think to myself great now everyone knows there's a phone in here .

You don't think the size and shape of these small boxes already give them away that these are cellphones? What else do we get from UPS or FedEx that's in these tiny boxes?

Two different UPS drivers said they have been instructed on their Samsung deliveries that are marked "new release phones" they aren't to deliver the package unless they get signature from the customer.

How they identify a new phone release delivery vs. any other I'm not certain, but they said the company is treating it like a new iPhone release and often times those are taken off of people's doorsteps.

I'm sure there will be some drivers that may leave it, but I'm not chancing it tomorrow.

If the sender doesn't require a signature and the customer receiving the package doesn't request a signature requirement, that really doesn't make any sense how or why UPS would take it up on themselves to require one.

I'm not saying that isn't possible, but it sounds very contradictory to how any company would operate given that it is essentially going against the request of both customers (Samsung and consumer).

Why isn't the live tracker for UPS working? I notice sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Is it true drivers can turn it off? Doesn't give me the option even though it's out for delivery now.

oddly, instead of out for delivery, mine says "Loaded on Delivery Vehicle".

PS: oh, now it just updated to Out for Delivery. however, still no map.

like others above, i wonder as well why the map doesn't always show up? weird.

sort of like: "we give you this neat extra function, but only now and then, not always"!
