So when will we get our phones (pre orders) Samsung.com

As long as nothing out of Samsung's control happens with the shipping we all will receive our phones tomorrow (those of us with a 9/30 delivery date). Ground is 1-5 business days so not hard for UPS to pick up packages today and have them delivered for tomorrow. I'd say the turn around time has been nice this pre-order. Can't wait to see all the positive post from those enjoying their S25 device .
I wouldn't count on it. UPS displays delivery dates based on label creation and their assumption when the package will be in their possession. In this case Samsung (or their distributor) is printing labels, affixing them to boxes and loading air containers. Unless you know when Samsung allows UPS to pickup the containers, you don't know when the clock begins for transit. Many people will not see an origin scan or a Louisville, KY scan due to the containers being packed by the destination region or in some cases the city (for larger metro areas).

If they scan it today, that is considered Day 1, and delivery tomorrow will be considered Day 2.
It's 2 days from when the delivery company picks it up. So until UPS picks it up the 2 day delivery time window doesn't start. Two day delivery is not guaranteed and Saturday and Sundays are not delivery days.

So if it gets picked up Thursday you will get it Monday

Movement later today won't equal delivery tomorrow because that would be UPS Next Day Air service.

Most of us only show 2nd Day service, which would, at best, equal Friday delivery.

Actually, we don't know that, yet, even though we suspect it. It comes down to the contract and when UPS was supposed to pick up the phones -- if Samsung had told them the phones were available for pick up and UPS had the delay, the clock started when UPS was informed to pick up the phones.

I also wonder, if for some of them, UPS has picked up the phones but not opened the container yet. As mentioned, Samsung will pack shipping containers to various cities; in those cases UPS will often pick up the container (and the container is scanned) but the individual packages are not scanned. So, when container is opened at the destination city, the packages then get scanned but the shipping gets "back dated" to the point the container was picked up. This is why some people state they basically don't get informed that the phone has been picked up until it is out for delivery.

Hopefully we'll get some type of update today/this evening.

I'm getting the feeling like this will be similar to one previous time when even though we saw the label early on, UPS somehow held on to the phones until about 3 days prior to the brick and mortar general availability date!

That would be similar to next Tuesday or so.

Only then did things started traveling.

Hope they won't repeat that this year. What a letdown - issuing the label way early only to hold on to the phones for days till the bitter end!

Look at Norway! @rikken received his already!

Sigh.
Yup, this is how it goes. Only those who work in Samsung or carrier logistics could tell us accurately why this occurs.

My guess is we will see movement Friday or Monday with most people receiving their devices Monday - Wednesday. Just a guess based on several years of preorders.

Not necessarily. Samsung has a special contract with UPS to deliver on specific days. I've had 2nd day air packages delivered the next day after tracking shows movement.

I know sometimes the actual movement of the device isn't always real time tracking software.
In the past I have ordered phones and got label created notice...then not received any notices until it is my hometown.
This is what happens when Samsungs logistics partner pre packs UPS air cargo containers and hands them over to UPS with the destination city already assigned to that air container. In this case, the first time the container is opened and individual boxes scanned is at the destination hub.

Thank you. I'm done trying to convince people. Samsung doesn't owe us anything as the true release date is 2/7. Idk why everyone thinks it's impossible that most of us won't see our phones tomorrow. At least it's one day away so either it will happen or it won't . Life will go on regardless.

A fellow in my neck of the woods (Toronto area) just posted his "shipped" status on Reddit. Looks like there might be something to be excited about before the weekend for us as well 🙏🙏

I believe this. I've seen several cases especially with Samsung where shipment was changed from 2 day to next day.

In Virginia, package scanned in Louisville and delivery tomorrow. This chimes with previous years where I didn't see an actual scan until it was half way to me..

I didn't order a s25x I got moto razr +and a A16 5g an it only took 3 days
Those are phones that the company already has in stock and can be shipped any day you buy them.. while the issue we are dealing with here is about a phone that is not yet available for purchase anywhere and we are speculating when they will deliver the first, Thank you anyway .

After last night's out of stock fiasco (glitch?), I was able to order the 512 unlocked jetblack S25U this morning! It'll be interesting to see if mine lags more than the early orders (you'd think), but it still shows expected 2/7 so I'm good with that. I opted for signature, though I'm bummed about the weirdness not having usual control over your package by doing so.

thanks and congrats, @uvarules!

may i ask when you ordered it please? was it during Unpacked or after Unpacked was finished? website or samsung app?

thank you!

you know, being in NYC here, you'd think that from their warehouse in TX to NYC would have a pretty large group of deliveries, right?

yet, no info on any type of "in possession of package".

frustrating.

Still no movement besides label being created. Samsung says delivery by tomorrow LOL 😂 but that's unlikely. I'm assuming either Friday or Monday. I'm happy with either since my case doesn't get here till Friday.
