Just about done dealing with ASUS. Unreal how they F' over consumers. their RMA process is unreal. Never reply to e-mails, and calling them yeilds zero information.
The Transformer Prime is a great tablet, but i'm about done dealing with ASUS and their b.s.
It's been almost 3 weeks and the RMA site is lisint it as "waiting to be repaired" it was promised to me with a turnaround of 10-14 days.

Just really frustrated and wondering if anyone here has run into any information or has any positive interactions with the RMA process.

I hate Apple but at least their **** works, and they support it.

there are a lot of threads about this on xda, might check it out for some ideas

Shipping was $16 from NY to TX, with $500 insurance coverage.

I had dead pixels in one area of the display and faded pixels in another area.

It took total of three and half weeks for mine to be repaired first week after they received (sig confirmation) my prime they still didnt even have it in their system as being there took a very long and loud phone call ....several supervisors later my prime was back on its way to me that next day. I had sent it in cause it had bricked itself during second to last update they pushed ota

Should have mine back on Friday. Inconclusive if i have a new serial #. Their RMA website still laists it as "waiting for repair" but I got shipping confirmation last night. I just want it back, if it's not 100% fixed back to Best Buy I will go.

Done with ASUS.

Finally got it back yesterday. Same Prime, new screen.

Works perfect, love it, hope it stays that way.

this stories makes me scared and I haven't even received my prime.. I got my through staples.. soo idk

just pay attention to the return time frame (30 or 60 days) for staples. If the day gets close and you arn't happy with something take it back don't RMA it!

Staples is only a 14 day return policy as i got mine from there and it bricked itself exactly 30 days from purchase

I too was in RMA hell. They received my tablet three full weeks ago, and all calling them had yielded until today is assurance that it was at the repair facility somewhere doing something. I called this morning and lost my temper a bit, demanding that, after 15 business days, they do something for me. I was told my case was escalated, and I received shipping information later in the afternoon.

Wow. They should just send out new units w/o problems. Take a CC to either replace a tab for free, or be able to charge for a new one if needed. Not this waiting 3-4 weeks sh-t, with no guarantee of fixing it.

Am sending mine in the morning. Bricked itself for no apparent reason. Screen went unresponsive. Got the orange triangle with an exclamation point and gears display. I use this thing everyday. Sucks it takes a month. It's pretty ridiculous. It makes me think that they have a lot of REM requests.

Lots of RMA requests coupled with ZERO f'ing spare parts.

This is really a horrendous roll out of a product.

Is this through UPS, FedEX or USPS? I'm sending mine tomorrow and want to know the easiest way to send it. The post office would be the most convenient.
