I'm in no hurry though, we're used to waiting much longer so it's fine if it happens early in the new year

With security updates coming in the beginning of the month the last few times for both N 9 and 10, I doubt we'll see the December update until Android 10 hits us sometime before the end of the year

Looks like they might skip December altogether and give us Android 10 with January security patch. That's not good . I don't mind getting Android 10 delayed but missing security patches for the most expensive of the Galaxy Note 10 variant is just not on.
