Soft Brick, Help!!

I installed the stupid fast kernal and SuperDark rom and it looks awesome, had a little issue with reinstalling everything but all seems well so far.

When I plug my phone into my computer via USB, it automatically starts up CWR... I can't get my phone files to open on my computer... help?

I am attempting to recover a friends phone from a softbrick. Will the update.zip file posted in this thread work without a Custom Bootloader or recovery?

Need more info please in order to troubleshoot. How did the phone become soft bricked? What was being done that caused the soft brick. What condition is the phone in that characterizes it as a soft brick?

+1 if he is soft bricked no update.zip will fix that
