Software issue

[Android Central Question]

Got a alert that there's a software update issue and to check phones up to date and if so call support. Anyone have this issue and possibly a solution.

I'm guessing this just popped up over other apps? Don't tap on anything on that except the 'X' to close it (or use the recent apps screen to swipe it away). It's a scam. ONLY use your device's settings app to check for updates using the appropriate menus.
