software to manage the n4?

is there any software required to manage/transfer stuff to/from the n4? I'm coming from the iphone so not quite sure how it works on the n4

Not for a PC. If you want to transfer files via USB and you're on a Mac, you'll need a helper program called Android File Transfer.

Yes, its all OTA. and for your original question, for PC you don't need anything. for mac you need Android File Transfer made by Google.

Everythings over the air. We don't use syncing software on Android.

To transfer files (like music or movies or something) you can simply plug into your computer and drag+drop, or use something like Dropbox (which I prefer). Everything else like contacts, calendar, mail, pictures etc. is synced wirelessly.

Wondershare Mobile does it for Android to Android since they have one for IOS might have to export then import on the other one.
