Yeah I did! S20 was debloated, had Ruthless Launcher, Pixel Bridge, etc. Anything to make it like a Pixel. I finally said "screw it."

Performance on my 3a was disappointing coming from the 2 XL. Quite different experience with the 4a, even with a 730 and half the refresh rate of the S20 FE. Very smooth, none of the 3a lag I experienced.

This was meant as a stop gap before the 6 Pro and to maximize resale on the S20 FE, but I don't feel I'm compromising a whole lot with a $350 phone. Great phone!

I went with the Pixel for the launch device. I haven't looked back.

I was using a BlackBerry Key²LE and my wife a BlackBerry Motion. When those reached EOL I was looking at replacements and came across reviews on the Pixel 4a. I was impressed with what I saw and at $345 each I was sold. We both love these phones and the unique Pixel only features as well as the guaranteed on time updates. Great value.
I might go with a bigger Pixel in the future but too big.

Yay! That's awesome! I've heard so many great things about the Pixel 4a. It's an amazing phone! So glad you are liking it!

The 4a series is pretty great. I have the 5G version but it is a beast. Battery life is phenomenal and I charge it every day and a half. It is as fast, if not faster than my exynos Galaxy S10+ and I just love the cameras. I had a 2xl for 2 years and loved it. There is something special about the Pixel phones.

I came over to 4a 5G along with the rest of my family (3 KEY ones, 3 DTEK60s) and we all love the simplicity of pure Android with Blackberry HUB+ services basically what TCL did with all their BlackBerry Phones .

We were all eagerly awaiting Onward Mobility's BlackBerry 5G but I decided waiting is no longer an option as our former devices were stuck at Android 7.1 /8 1 respectively.

Now with our 4a 5Gs and perfectly enabled BlackBerry Hub+ services while using BlackBerry Launcher as default and having 5G to boot... we couldn't be any more happier.

Icing on the cake is being on the the latest (Android 11), monthly security updates and the crazy battery life. 👍👍

Well, that was short. While here in Hawaii, genius me went in the hot tub with my 4a in the pocket of my board shorts. Sucks. I went to a nearby T-Mobile store and picked up a OnePlus Nord N10 5G.

Oh, no! That's so sad! How is the OnePlus Nord treating you?

I like that it still has close-to-stock Android OxygenOS 10, and not v11 which is more like OneUI. Better battery life than the 4a. I'll try the camera today. It's a budget phone so definitely lacks some features, but it will work fine until the 6 Pro is released.

I also moved from BB Key2 for same reason but went for Pixel 5g instead. Loaded BlackBerry apps and never looked back. (still miss keyboard shortcuts and notification light but A11 notifications more than make up for them). Enjoy.

I just got a 4a5g. man have I missed the Google ecosystem!!! Not too big, not too small. Jumped on a S20 FE bundle sale. Samsung mya have nice phones, but I couldn't deal with the bloat.

Going to put my FE on the market for sale

I like the 4a 5G. Better size for me than Pixel 5 and same CPU and cameras. Paid £200 less for it than a Pixel 5 would have been (£399 total) and it feels more like my Pixel 2xl than the 4xl ever did. It is lightweight (bonus with my nerve damaged hands) and battery life is astounding. I know it isn't waterproof and it has no wireless charging coil. I prefer cable charging anyway and I keep it away from wet places as much as I can.

I love the speed and smoothness of my phone and am glad I bought it. Never a second of regret over this phone.

I totally agree with you about the Google ecosystem. I'm sure you won't have a problem selling your S20 FE, either!
