Solitaire broken post update

Hi, everyone.
I know this isn't life or death, but I'm stuck at home a lot, and Solitaire provides some distraction.
Since the update a couple of days ago, I can't play it.
The android toolbar no longer works as commands for the game.
I can hide the toolbar, but that doesn't help.
And there are 2 new, annoying icons on it - lock (which makes the toolbar go away) and game booster, whatever that is.
So I can't stop a game - or start a new one.
I went in playstore to see if there was an update - but the game isn't listed among my apps - and isn't in the library, either.
So does that means it's pretty much dead?
And if so, can anyone recommend a classic solitaire game with not frills?

Can you tell us who the developer is?

Have you ever played the solitaire game that's built into the Google app? Just bring up the Google search app and type Solitaire, then tap Play. It's pretty good!

I've just tried this as I do enjoy solitaire but the layout and size is awful.

This one is really good, but the full version costs $1.99: Yukon Gold Solitaire. I got the full version free back when Amazon Appstore had its free Underground apps, but that's no longer available.
