solution for using voice command/search while in car

i have a bluetooth handsfree system in my car, and when my epic is connected i cat use the voice command/voice search feature on the epic.
now, with this program [APP] Auto Bluetooth - xda-developers
and with the samsung dock charger, whenever i disconnect my epic from the dock, bluetooth is off. love it

OK... It's not just me then.

Quite frustrated with this... As I try to be as "handsfree" as possible when driving and don't like having to "lookup" contacts but like Microsoft's Voice Command on my WM6.5 phone.

While I'm digging most of this phone it is frustrating to have to take steps back technologically to take steps forward in other ways I wasn't aware I was missing.

I think this issue is supposed to be resolved with Froyo 2.2. No?
