( SOLVED ) no 3G after rooting? Help?

(SOLVED) i have a lg optimus s running reborn rom. i updated the sw to vd. i get ev but no 3g. is there something i'm missing here? i has never went to 3g since flashing. i've tried to find something but i cant seem to find anything. help please.

Evdo-rev a is 3g, its just that reborn rom wanted to get technical but yeah its 3g
