I use Huawei honor 5x with EMUI 4.0.1 (marshmallow). Every time I unlock my phone I get screen lock data reminder showing several apps (chrome, whatsapp, facebook and several other system apps). I have restricted background data usage for all of them. I always make sure to exit apps properly using back button and not the home button. I also scan the phone using the inbuilt phone manager app to stop apps running in background. But still they are using up data when screen is locked.
Now, I haven't disabled mobile data for these apps, because they need internet to work. Is there a way to stop them from using data after screen lock (or after exiting them), but use data when they are opened.
