Hello. I have the opportunity to purchase a Note 4 listed as 64gb and am wondering if this sounds fishy or not? It is the European model SM-N910F I am able to get it for $400. I am located in Canada(Toronto area) on Rogers. I was sent pictures and everything seemed normal.

Any information would be great
Thanks.

It's hard to call, the Note 4 is coming up to being a year old, not that it's a great phone, it really is, but I'd always be wary when buying a phone online unless it's a repeatable shop that you can return / exchange it if it doesn't work. Here in the UK you can buy a Note 4 for about £350 so $400 isn't that crazy.

Do you have the chance to look at the phone first before you buy? this link might help to find a fake Note 4 - http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...de-spot-fake-counterfeit-galaxy-note-4-a.html

Good luck :)

Judging by that article... The photos match to make it look like a real phone. Only problem is not being able to see it before I buy it. I just asked for the IMEI to do a search. Here is one of the photos that was sent to me.

Judging by the above photo it looks legit, but it's hard to tell. Get him to power the phone up and send you shots of the version number, random shots of the pull down notification bar etc so you can see that it's not a fake.

I got the IMEI
9900 0495 7797 354. I got the results of it being Verison ?

It all looks legit tbh, the box looks correct, it has all the usual accessories, like the fast charger, ear phones etc. Can he not turn the phone on and send you some pictures? it's really hard to tell if the phone is fake when looking at pics of it turned off.

After some searching I didn't see a SM-N910F with 64GB internal SD storage. I could have missed it, but would try to be sure that a 64GB variant was made for the SM-N910F model.

They finally responeded saying they did not want to open /turn on the phone due to it being brand new. Then offered this super fishy (obvious scam) pay "150 upfront and then pay the rest off later" As I said I am in Toronto and this seller claims to be in Orlando.... Thanks for all the help though, I don't think I'm going to risk it as it clearly seems to be a scam.
