Some Nexus 4 love....

I made the switch from blackberry a few weeks ago. Decided to try vanilla android and I'm really impressed. Got the phone it the second wave and build quality is not superb but I don't have any real hardware issues. Slight buzz and rattle but I think it's fine. Screen is amazing and batt life for me is getting better and better. Last night going to bed at 10pm it was still at 57% with WiFi on. And that's coming off the charger at 8am. Better than my bold 9900.
The phone just flies and never really hangs. Transitions are super smooth. Anyway thought I'd give a thumbs up for those on the fence.

Does the glass seam tacky or slick? or is it the plastic sides which feel not so superb?

The glass is slick. I'm glad I got the bumper vase sit it helps with gripping the phone and not having it slide off an unlevel surface.

The glass is slick if your hands are dry or cold. The rubbery sides are nice but it is a narrow surface compared to the rest of the phone. What I meant on build quality is the minor gaps here and there around the plastic bevel. Its not completely flush. Would be nice to have had a metal band around the phone. Also notice bumps in the plastic here and there. Other than that the glass surfaces and finish are superb!

The feel of the glass is incredible. So smooth and silky. My SGS2 was a smudge magnet. This is about as perfect as glass can feel. Very good with fingerprints.
