Some options for phone insurance

That's insanely high too. Worse than normal carrier insurance.

Well, it appears that ATT is $10/ mo with a $199 deductible. (Maybe) I couldn't get a deductible out of the phone rep I just spoke to. He hemmed and hawed until I got tired of typing the word "deductible." I don't even know if they have one formulated for the HTC One yet.

Best Buy plans are about the same price, but they have no deductible. Not sure exactly what they cover anymore...

I use farm bureau. Half the price of assurion and 200 times better. If your phone is broke, they write you a check for a new phone and you go buy whatever you want. You don't have to take a sh!tty refurbished phone and if you want to switch brands you can.

Nice! Do they cover loss too?

Check out Worth Ave Group. They are great. Cover loss and theft. I have 2 tablets and 2 phones with them. I had to file a claim for my wife's Razr and they were great to work with. Got my check in the mail within a week and went and bought a new phone for the wife.

I"m glad someone has had a good experience with them. I looked them up, and they had some bad reviews. They are by far the cheapest, though.

edit: I just spoke to them, and they do not cover loss. You have to try and recover it, and then file a police report as stolen. Otherwise, they do cover theft, and they are rated A+ by BBB. They are $64/yr, and $50 deductible. Best price I've seen. I will probably go with them. Thanks for mentioning them. I would have passed them up after seeing those bad reviews, but your post made me investigate further. Thanks.

Maybe you have a special standing/ premium member? I was quoted $10/mo (twice) from ATT.

I know with Asurion your only allowed 2 claims in a calendar year and you get a refurbished device back. I work in the repair industry and if a refurb is done right its ok. But ive heard and read of many complaints about Asurion units.
Now add the high deductible. In some cases its cheaper to pay for a repair your self and ONLY file an insurance claim for lost/stolen OR liquid / extreme physical damage.

Enquared seems to be the best balance of comprehensive insurance and good price. I'll go with them.

The company I work for we use protect cell and grip insurance instead of assurian.

I used a 40 % coupon that I received from Squaretrade. It ended up costing me $85 for two years of coverage. $50 deductible

I think there is a coupon for 30% or more off for square trade out there now. Google for it. Here are some coupon codes for Worth Ave Group for 15% off that may work--
