Thanks. I've been tuning the handlebar height. Definitely tuning the saddle height and angle and spring-dampening. It is also an electric front hub model so getting use to its power profile. Also, I'm use to drop handlebars and combined brake/shifters. This has flat handlebars and the shifters I use to have on my mt bike (no longer ridden). Just a few DOZEN tweaks....

Have a great year yourself.
That's cool and keeps you fine tuning

Well, getting ready for its next big move, I shipped the battery down to Palm Desert for a planned vacation (does one take a vacation from retirement?). The lithium battery is too powerful to fly so ground transportation. The bike will be dissembled for its maiden suitcase voyage as checked luggage.

But without power, I was back to my standard e-bike for yesterday's jaunt. Getting in rides between our rain storms.

Smith Cove Marina and downtown.

Sunset at 1:40 in the afternoon! I want fulltime STANDARD time or else the sun won't rise here till around 9am - obscene in my opinion.

Mt Rainier in all its glory. After all these years, I still swoon when it is out and showing its snowy flanks. And, yes, I have climbed it - many years ago. I have topped all five of our volcanoes - Rainier, Adams (twice), Baker, Glacier Peak and St Helens (before and after eruption)

Back to MY THREAD.

Visited a gallery downtown that features glass. Then on a mostly "cloudy" day I did my walk around Discovery Park. Never can trust those weathermen...

A little pricy for a lamp

My ritual shot. Too bad it was mostly cloudy!

A little misty in the woods...

Took an opportunity to visit downtown and see the entrance art at the new aquarium's new Ocean Pavilion addition. Took light rail down and wandered around trying to find the pedestrian skybridge which leads from the Pike Place Market down to the renovated waterfront and aquarium. The skybridge has ramps and stair running down about two or three stories. There are terraces and play areas, seating and small amphitheaters along the route.

Quite a murky day unlike the photos in the linked article

A few years back, I managed to acquire two salmon fabricated in glass by a native artist, Dan Friday, who designed the salmon in the entryway of the Ocean Pavilion.
