Trying to go to stock on my droid x so I can do a restore of a backup and I am on a mac. I NEED this restore before work tomorrow or else I'm sunk

Let me get this right before I do it:

I hold home and power and go into recovery even though i'm on non rooted gingerbread

then I choose the file which will be under?

Then I am on stock and can root/bootstrap and restore my backup which i hope has my contactS?

Didn't know you were on gb. You will have to do the sbf with your computer, this was only for froyo. Sorry for the confusion.
