Something strange

Here's a strange thing that's happening, and I'm hoping someone can assist:

My phone makes the notification sound but there's nothing in the notification drawer. The last time I thought I saw something about a warning, but it disappeared before I could read.

Any ideas?

It could be the severe weather warning or amber alert but they cancelled it or you were in an area with low signal and didn't receive it properly.

How often does it do it?

It's been happening on and off the past couple of days. Amber alerts and severe weather have a different notification sound. So i don't think it's that.

The notification disappeared too quickly. But I did see a triangle and the word warning but then it was gone.

SOLVED: it was the battery app, telling me the battery was over 99 degrees.

Well, glad you got it solved! I would uninstall the app and reinstall to see if it happens again. It could have been giving a false reading.

it's the gsam app. i think it was just an alarm setting that may be a new addition since the last update.

what is strange is that it would disappear so quickly. it doesn't stay in the notification drawer. the last time i happened to see it when i clicked the power button, right before it disappeared.

I had this happening too and disabled the battery temp alerts in the GSAM app settings.
