Something Using 4g On My Verizon Note 9 While On WiFi

Everytime I wake my phone, my 4g is lit up, even though I'm on wifi. After about 30 seconds, it dims. But it's back if I let my phone sit a minute and wake it again. I remember years ago, the Verizon caller ID app would constantly use 4g, so I've always disabled that app as soon as I get my phone. Is there anything else that would be using 4g or a way to tell what is using it? I've closed all apps using the recent apps button

I am sure NetGuard can log - and deny/block - at the app level - and show IP address it is communicating with.

There's a setting in the developer settings where you can disable the data connection while using WiFi. You can try switching that off and see if that helps. You enable developer settings by going to settings/about phone/software information and then taping on Build Number several times until it tells you developer options are turned on. You can always turn the setting back on if it doesn't help.

I may try that, but do things like voicemail require a data signal? When I check my voicemail, my 4g icon usually lights up
