Well I have something weird going on. I just bought the white version of the Nexus 5 and the screen doesn't look as sharp as my black one. My black N5 has a screen protector on it and it still looks better. I bought the white because I saw in some reviews that it's actually slightly different and I do like it better.

When I compare the two screens, my black N5 looks brighter and the whites look whiter. The white N5, white colors have a slight yellow tint to them. It's strange to have quality control issues between two of the same type of phone. I'm usually not very picky about stuff like this, but it's hard not to notice.

I'm thinking of sending it back for an exchange but will Google exchange something because of this?

This is fully expected with such a low priced device not that it should be that way or that all are like that. But there is a large tolerance range in the manufacturing of low priced items. Just return it and your next might still be the same just keep returning it till you get the right one. The vendors even understand this and is why google will exchange these without much fuss.

Yeah, I will return it for a exchange. I already have the black one so it's not like I will be without a Nexus phone. I was actually going to sell the black one once I got the white phone but, I'll have to wait until I get one with a decent screen.
