Sony M4 constantly indicates 50 battery life, why is it doing this?

Sony M4 constantly indicates 50% battery life

Even if I have charged it overnight it will say it has 50% battery. It will still act as if it is fully charged and last me the whole day but it is really annoying not knowing how much battery I actually have left. Anyone got an idea on how to fix this?

It's really newly released device it surely would have a warranty so take it back where you bought it and they will replace or fix it. If you ordered it online than contact the seller.
