AC Question

My phone (Sony C1505 / Xperia E) has a very small internal memory of only 2 GB, but I have a 32 GB SD card. I can't seem to move apps from my internal memory to the SD card, and I understand that is because those apps will only run when they're (mostly) stored on the internal memory. But can rooting help me to run apps on the SD card?

I'd like to know if going through the troubles of rooting is worth it to fix my issue. I'm willing to go through a lot of trouble for it though, because I can't even update Whatsapp anymore.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Android Central! If you root the phone, you could try apps like Link2SD or App Mgr III to move apps to SD.
