I have Sony Xperia C in which i cant install Viber.

i made a thread also her to which i haven't got any reply.

when i try to install via google play store in device, i get the following error
Unknown error code during application installation "-24"
i tried by WiFi, by usb, by downloading apk file but nothing is working.
i have viber in Sony Xperia M but cant get it anyhow in C

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy ace 2 mobile phone which I have downloaded the Viber app on to and all is good!!. My problem is I have now just brought a Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 and also downloaded the Viber app but cannot seem to get it to work??? When I try to set Viber up on my tablet, I lose Viber and the settings on my mobile phone???? Is it possible to use Viber on my phone and tablet, if so how do I set it up please??? Cheers

Hi,i'm upset of my viber,my phone is samsung galaxy S3,my problem since feb 18,2014,,morning when i turn on my phone cuz just finished charging it..openthe menu then theres a pop up message saying 'viber has stopped' just ignore it cuz i've expirience it already just ignore turns ok..but till now it turns not ok..i need to use my viber..when i open my viber then my screen turns black.tilk now always that pop up message...then back to menu?what happen pls..help..tnx..

One can have a VIBER status like "online at 8:24 AM" in a Droid and still have the phone turned on at that time? Can one keep the Droid turned on and VIBER off?
What that status means?

I have Sony Xperia V and after I updated the software , viber got problem which is when i make a call after connecting i only can hear the other person for 20 seconds and after that there will be no sound, when i hang up and they try to call me , i can't answer the call... i uninstalled and re-installed the viber to the latest version for few times and i even updated my phone software to what sony recommended to do for fixing the problem , but i still have the same problem with viber ... what should i do...?

I have samsung s4 and i got same problems. If i call i cant put it to handsfree mode / or push end call button its Like touchscreen is not working :/ and sometimes(almost everytime) if i call - screen blacks out. I will quit using viber pretty soon. Its so stupid and makes me angry

I have the same problem after I updated the software. I can hear the other person only for 6 seconds! I uninstalled and re-installed the viber it dosen't help

Hi. I have a Sony Xperia z and I've installed and reinstalled viber many times because of this glitch. No matter how many times I refresh,my screen /viber freezes and it sends an error message saying that viber doesnt seem to be responding. It happens almost every time I open the app. Please help. This happend with my xperia p too. I've uninstalled and installed and tried in different wifi spots. But it isn't working.

Please I'm an international student in the US and this is the only way I can keep in touch with folks back home.

Thank you for your prompt replies and useful input in this forum.

I have a Samsung S3 GT-I9300 Android 4.3 and I am of course using Viber 4.3.1. The problem is that I cannot disconnect a viber call once it started. It seems that the touch screen stops responding or working when the call is established and it only gets activated again (the touch screen) when the call is disconnected. Of course, without a touch screen active during the call, the only way to close the viber call is to end the task from the task manager. All other buttons that are on the screen (speaker, dial pad, etc) and even the normal buttons (notification panel, etc) do not work. The only thing that works is the middle (home button) button.

Any ideas , solutions , same issue ?

i have sony experia z withe latest stock kitkat firmware (before update it was on stock 4.3 -the phone is not rooted or boat loader locked) When some one call me on viber ,the screen incoming call viber screen appear normally but when i answer all i got is black screen but i can still talk or hear the caller normally ,if i press power button 2 or 3 times i can see viber call on progress but on notification are,now pressing on this i can got viber calling screen all over my phone screen but if i want to close the call i cant at all,i can end call only when i disable WiFi and 3g,tried uninstall ,reinstall,clear cache same problem any help please

problem solved
seems that the problem caused by the screen protector ,the screen protector is always switching on proximity sensor which is function to turn the screen off when u r in a call to prevent any touch from your face or ears to screen during the call,to be sure from that enter xperia service menu as below :
(Dial *#*#7378423#*#* in phonepad/ dialpad and tap on service tests > proximity switch > , cover the proximity sensor with your thumb, status should be : on.

When you'll remove the thumb away, status should be : off.
if without putting your hand on proximity sensor is on then remove the screen protector or cut it above the sensor

Hi, Im currently using a Samsung Galaxy S3 with a rooted rom (cynogenmod 10.3) however as of the past 2 days my viber has started to act up. Every time i receive a call or make a call i can hear some sort of disturbance and then everything just goes blank and the person on the other end tells me that they can hear me clearly. So Im wondering what is the issue here since Ive been using VIber for a couple of years already and Iam pretty satisfied with what it has to offer but why of late has it started to act up? I have tried to uninstall the app too and reinstall it back on but it just doesnt work anymore! Been trying to look for a solution over the net but guess Im just not going anywhere with my search so far. Please help!

Oh if the version I have installed is of any help then it is Viber 4.3.3

Hi,
I am having some issue with viber on my new Xperia Z1. When I make a call to other viber numbers, they hear me with a very low voice. I can hear them clearly and loud. Other softwares like skype and hangout works very well so its definately a problem with the integration of viber with my phone. I went also to the customer care and told them the problem and they confirmed me that my phone was OK. So please provide a solution or updte regarding this issue

Have you tried completely uninstalling Viber, rebooting your device, then reinstalling? (note that this will unfortunately result in deletion of your Viber chat history).

I have installed uninstalled Viber many times and my screen goes black what is upsetting me is every time I uninstalled I lose my conversations and all my pictures very frustrating I wish my friend could use a different chat line seems to me every time viber does a update it makes viber service worse then better to busy adding stickers games instead of making the chat lines better
