Sony Xperia Ultra Google Play edition update?

I'm wondering if I'm the only guy left holding the
Sony Xperia Ultra gpe and waiting for the promised lifetime updates from Google for buying this outrageously large phone?? Any chance I missed a news release that said there would no longer be any updates for this monster phone? Signed loyal Google Play edition customer left out in the cold!
