Sony Xperia Z3 Not Seeing SD Card?

Just got my Z3 and am having issues with it seeing the SD card? I erased it through the phone and its saying zero space on the card even though I haven't put any thing on it?

That's the thing it shouldn't be empty. That's after I erased it.

Yeah that's what I had to do. Got a higher end SD card and now it works fine. Don't know what's wrong with the other one
