SOS: week old nexus4 freezes for 2-3 min. during calls

Hi,

i've been using my new nexus4 (8GB) for the past few days and everything was fine.

this morning, during a call, i tried to acess the calendar and the phone didnt respond.
afer the call was over it was ok, and the phone worked fine again.

in the evenning the s**t really started:
when i make or recieve calls, the screen blacks out and the phone does not respond
(the call continues with no option of hanging up).

if i press the button the screen blinks, and if i do a long press (like when shutting down)
it vibrates a little bit and thats it.

after 2-3 minutes the phones wakes up, until the next call that is.
i tried resetting it, but it didnt help.

any ideas?

Sometimes they block the proximity sensor and cause problems ending calls. Try taking it off and see if things improve.

what is got to do with it?
it means now that i cant have a screen prot.?

You can have one, just trim the area where the sensor is so that it doesn't interfere

On the nexus 4, to the opposite side of where the front facing camera is. In other words, the top left hand side of the phone.... There should be like two dots there.
