Sound in silent mode? Alarm.

Hi;

Is there a sound in silent mode function. I can not find it.
My stock alarm is not sounding in the am when I have it set. My phone is in mute mode over night. This used to work but I did a hard reset of my phone and now it doesn't sound in mute.
If I do a test alarm for a couple of minutes from now it does work.
I'm unsure of what has changed?

Well, I don't think that there is any problem if you have tested the alarm for a couple of minutes and it was working mean the alarm is working fine its may be you who is sleeping way more deeply and can't hear the alarm . One day I was also thinking the same thing that my alarm doesn't went off in the morning but later than when I watch the cctv footage of my house I can hear my device ringing and It was me who is in deep sleep. So I would say that was not the fault of your device

My phone is having the same issue after installed most recent update, I set the phone to MUTE at night so I don't get any notifications but the alarm is also muted and doesn't go off, I can't seem to have it both ways other than to turn off all notifications and leave the sound on, which is a hassle to say the least as a "daily ritual" used to work now it doesn't...any ideas?
