sound issues

hi all,new to the forum having trouble with no sound on video can get sound with headset but not through speaker but i get notification sounds,any advice thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Does the main speaker play any sounds at all, like from a music app or a game? If nothing is coming through the main speaker at all, perhaps it has failed.
