Sound on the EEE Slider?

I got the slider as a gift so I really didn't get to compare it with other tablets. But I did compare the sound with the ipad1 and I could hardly hear from the Slider. Is there a way to make it louder?

Both. But I know that if you open the slider open its a little louder but its still not that loud IMO.I wish the bottom side of the slider with the black grill was speakers.

I was using skype on it with video... Video is great.. Sound... Can barely hear it. We gotta be able to boost the sound somehow.

I've been monitorng a thread on XDA about editing a file to balance the left channel on the transformer. Since the hardware is similar maybe it can be done on the slider?

I haven't checked of the custom Roms out there. Maybe one has something cooked into it to increase the volume output?
