Hi all,

1) I've wondered whether you are activated the features such as UHQ Upscaler, Surround, Tube Amp Pro and Concert hall which are at Settings > Sounds and vibration > Sound quality and effects on your S7. Can you please give some information about them and why you use?

2) When I try some of them as if I lost the bass, the power of sound or the vocal sound quality. How have you set them and are you pleased?

I know about them but I don't have music on my phone so it's not real important to me. I have a usb stick full of music in my car and if I'm at home I can listen on my computer or connect the Jambox to my Galaxy Note 2014 tab. Most of the options (on the S7) aren't available unless you're using headphones. But I did make some adjustments to the "dials". For what it's worth, I have full bass since the speakers on this phone are fairly "tinny" sounding. I have the Instrument/Vocal set at 11:00

I recently started having issues with my sound and I tried those settings and was totally disappointed with the lost of bass. It sounded horrible in my car when I plugged it in. Now there is a sound quality test but you have to have headphones to do it and I forgot mine at home. Ill let you know when I have the sound issue resolved, this is the first Samsung phone I had that sounds like crap.

I do a lot of headphone listening (Sony MDR-XB90EX) with my Note 5 which has the same settings software settings you refer to, and find the Upscaler to reduce fatigue and the Tube setting to add warmth, just as they intended. I have also found the use of the concert setting to add negative reverb and reduce the bass, which is very distracting. I know the exynos has a different DAC and output stage than the SD processor on the S7, so YMMV.
